Risk Management Partners

The European Banking Authority’s final guidelines on environmental scenario analysis will apply from 1 January 2027, and banks are expected to start building capabilities well ahead of that date. In this 60-minute co-hosted webinar (45 minutes plus live Q&A), agradblue and Risk Management Partners, a unit of Munich Re, provide an entry-level, implementation-focused orientation for EU banks and financial services.

We will unpack what the guidelines introduce, how to interpret the EBA’s logic of complementary tools (short-term financial resilience via stress testing, and medium-to-long-term business model resilience), and how proportionality can shape a pragmatic “start small, mature over time” approach. The session also illustrates how location-level physical risk can be translated into defensible, reporting-ready inputs at portfolio scale, supporting risk management, strategy, and decision-making.
